Trying to stick to one and find then only material for that system, it's very limiting.Īre native Bengali / Bangla speakers on this forum? There are lots of different transliteration systems, and getting used to them is hard. But after some more research, I think it's not very future-proof to try learning without being able to tap into real textual sources.
I'll take a second look at them, though, because when I started out I was pretty focused on a phonetic approach. There are other websites too, but they look mostly pretty dusty and boring. Too bad there's no course on Duolingo yet, hope they start one soon ^^ Does anybody know some good resources for Bengali? I already checked all courses I could find on Memrise & Quizlet. It's not perfect, but is certainly a start. I want to learn Bengali, and I would appreciate any good tips from fellow language learners along the wayįor the alphabet, I currently use this course.
